Our people
Without our people, we could not meet your expectations. Therefore, our people are very special to us at Clinical Conduct Associates. We believe that our people with extensive international experience across a wide range of healthcare and medical sectors, including international Pharmaceutical companies & CROs, will quickly instill in you the confidence that Clinical Conduct Associates can deliver on your Study. Having such a low turnover of staff has allowed us to establish strong working relationships with both regulatory and ethical bodies, as well as our network of GP’s and consultants across the country.
There are two arms to the Clinical Conduct Associates clinical teams- site management and clinical monitoring. These are two distinct disciplines specialising in different aspects of the trial process. Used together, the results are both cost-efficient and highly effective.
The Clinical Research Site Manager focuses on the support of the site to deliver clinical research on time and to the highest quality. A site manager acts as part of the research team to help alleviate the administrative burden on the site, which equates to >75% of the delays at site. Such tasks include feasibility, recruitment planning, time and resource management, mailings, visit scheduling, patient note trawls and pre-screening of suitable patients. If these tasks are made easy and done at the right time, the site is more than capable of dealing with the medical tasks of the protocol and completing CRF’s.
The Clinical Monitor oversees the progress of the trial and ensures that it is conducted, recorded and reported in accordance with the protocol, SOP’s and ICH GCP. Although site management traditionally falls with the Clinical Monitor, the benefits of separating these roles are considerable. Feasibility is considered and realistic and sites are well prepared to recruit on day one of the recruitment period. Appropriate recruitment plans and staff are in place to ensure greater efficiency and quality at a lower overall cost.
